We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for an experienced and creative Social Media Specialist. About the role
  
The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for crafting and executing a digital strategy that strengthens brand presence, drives lead generation, and enhances community engagement. You will be at the forefront of turning ideas into action — managing content, running campaigns, tracking results, and amplifying voice and reach across all digital platforms.

Role Responsibilities
  

• Plan, create, and publish high-quality, engaging content across social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp, Telegram, Vimeo
• Maintain a consistent posting schedule and content calendar aligned with brand tone, seasonal campaigns, and business goals
• Write compelling captions, headlines, and social copy tailored to platform audiences and post formats
• Design basic visual assets using Canva, Adobe, or similar tools (or coordinate with the design team when needed)
• Monitor and respond to messages, comments, and tags in a timely and professional manner to foster community engagement
• Identify trends, viral content formats, and platform updates to ensure the brand stays current and relevant
• Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Training, HR, Marketing, etc.) to support campaigns, launches, and promotions
• Track and analyse performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, follower growth) and prepare regular insights reports
• Coordinate user-generated content, testimonials, and team highlights to humanise the brand and drive authenticity
• Liaise with influencers, community partners, or collaborators for shout-outs, features, and campaign cross-promotion
• Maintain and protect the visual and messaging consistency of the brand across all platforms
• Brainstorm and pitch creative campaign ideas to increase visibility, awareness, and community engagement

  
Required Skills & Experience
  

• 2+ years in a similar role with proven results in social media
• Strong knowledge of digital platforms, content trends, and visual storytelling
• Experience using tools like Meta Business Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Mailchimp, Google Ads, and Analytics
• Excellent written and visual communication skills
• Strong time management and attention to detail — ability to work both independently and in a team
• Knowledge of marketing funnels, lead generation, and conversion optimisation
• Comfortable working to KPIs and reporting on performance

  
Desirable:

• Experience in healthcare, NDIS, aged care, education, or community sectors
• Video editing, motion graphics or Reels/TikTok creation skills
• Basic HTML or website CMS experience (e.g., WordPress, Wix)
