Sydney NSW Your new role - Provide appropriate levels of support to maintain and improve the clients level of independent functioning including participation in the community
- Respond to the client’s needs and collaborate positively with their families, support people and others in their lives.
- Undertake various domestic assistance for the client.
- Demonstrate high quality service
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Recognise, respect and respond to the needs of the client
- Maintain documentation to a high standard
- Participate safe food handling
What you will need to succeed The best candidate for this role will ideally possess: - (Preferred) Certificate 3 or higher in Individual Support/Aged Care/Disability Care or equivalent qualification
- Passion for providing support and care to people
- Punctual and reliable
- Clear and effective communication skills
- P1 driver's licence and willingness to transport clients
- Experience as a Support/Care Worker is highly desirable

- Eligibility to work in Australia
- 100 points of Identification
- Australian National Police Check (Must be less than 12 months since the date of issue and be for unsupervised and working with vulnerable people)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NSW Working With Children Check
- Certificate of completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Certificate of Completion of the Australian Government Department of Health Covid-19 Infection Control Training
- Certificate of Covid 19 Vaccination compliance
- Current HLTAID011 (or equivalent) First Aid Certificate
- Current HLTAID009 (or equivalent) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate
