About the role 
As part of our Strategy and Impact Team you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our services and ensuring sustainability through strategic partnerships and winning funding opportunities. You’ll work closely with service delivery teams to showcase our impactful work to stakeholders and identify new funding opportunities that enable us to reach more people in need. 

Your responsibilities will span the entire contract lifecycle—from identifying funding opportunities and leading tender processes to coordinating renewals. You’ll be the first point of contact for funding agencies, providing expert advice on contract management and commissioning, and fostering strategic partnerships, including philanthropic initiatives. 

What You’ll Do 

• Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support organisational growth 
• Lead tendering processes and manage contract renewals 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with funding bodies and stakeholders 
• Collaborate with leadership and support teams to gather evidence of impact and ensure compliance 
• Provide expert advice on contract management and commissioning 
• Drive business development initiatives and explore strategic partnerships 

The details: 

• Permanent role, part time or full time (3 - 5 days per week)  
• Based at Macquarie Park or Sydney City office with hybrid working options available

What you’ll bring: 

• A tertiary qualification in business, social sciences/human services, communications, or a related field 
• Experience in contracting and/or tendering with compliance requirements for multiple funding contracts 
• Strong networking and stakeholder engagement skills with proven success in building collaborative relationships 
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality proposals, tenders, and reports 
• Skilled in collecting and analysing information to create clear, impactful documentation 
• Experience coordinating projects that deliver business improvements and innovation 
• Previous experience in the not-for-profit or for-purpose sector is desirable
