Provide phone based support to male victims of domestic & family violence to address safety needs
About Relationships Australia
Relationships Australia NSW (RANSW) provides a safe, judgement-free environment where individuals, couples, and families can address the critical matters impacting their relationships, and their lives.
About the Role
You’ll be the first point of contact for male victims of Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) following a police report or incident. In this critical phone-based role, you will provide compassionate, immediate support to men during a highly vulnerable time. Your core responsibility will be to make a meaningful and trauma informed call, offering information, assessing immediate safety, and linking individuals with available supports and services.
You will work with referrals from the NSW Police and Justice Department and proactively reach out to men who need support. In this high-volume environment, your ability to quickly establish trust and rapport will be crucial to ensuring each client receives the care and guidance they need.
