My client, a thriving, medium sized accountancy practice based in Malahide, is currently seeking an Accounting Technician to join their team.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1 to 3 years' practice experience who enjoys working across accounts and wants to develop their career within a supportive and professional practice environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of accurate and timely financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and SMEs
• Preparation and filing of VAT, Income Tax and Corporation Tax returns
• Assisting with audit assignments, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, providing insights and analysis for clients
• Supporting senior team members with client work and ad hoc queries
• Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a high level of service

 
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• 1 to 3 years' experience working in an accountancy practice
• Experience preparing accounts and tax returns
• Strong working knowledge of Xero, Bright Accounts Production and ROS
• ATI qualified or working towards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 
Working Hours

• Standard hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm
• Flexible working arrangements available
• This role can be worked on a 4 day or 5 day week
