Our client, a well-established medium-sized accountancy practice in Malahide, is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Technician to join their team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for candidates with 1-3 years of practice experience, a strong commitment to technical excellence, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional tax services.
 
Duties will include:

• Prepare and file accurate and timely Income Tax Returns
• Handle the preparation of CGT and CAT returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Complete corporation tax returns, utilising your expertise and attention to detail
• Assist with VAT returns, contributing to the smooth operation of our tax department
• Research technical tax issues for directors and provide expert guidance on ad hoc tax queries from our audit and accounts team and clients.

• 1-3 years of practice experience in a tax-focused role
• Proficient in using Tax Pro and ROS
• Knowledge of VAT legislation is a significant advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Candidates who are currently studying towards Tax Qualification will be considered
