Our client is Australia’s leading integrated steel manufacturing and distribution business, delivering innovative solutions for both commercial and residential construction projects. Due to continued growth, we are seeking highly skilled Machine Operators with extensive experience, strong mechanical aptitude, good computer skills, and a safety-focused mindset to join their dynamic team.
Available Shifts:

• Day Shift: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Afternoon Shift: 4:00 pm – Midnight
• Night Shift: Midnight – 8:00 am

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Good computer skills for operating machine control systems and data entry
• Safety-conscious with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Attention to detail and dedication to high-quality work

Duties include:

• Operating multiple types of machines and equipment
• Monitoring and adjusting machine settings for optimal performance
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines
• Using computer systems to manage machine operations, input data, and monitor performance
• Ensuring machines are running safely and efficiently

Successful candidates will have:

• A great mechanical aptitude
• Strong computer skills for managing operations and entering data
• Availability to work a variety of shifts (day, afternoon, and night)
• A strong focus on safety and quality
• Physical fitness and agility to perform machine operation duties effectively
