Our client, a well-established steel building products company, is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Store Person to join their team in a full-time position. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing business with consistent hours and a supportive team environment.

About the Role
You will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day warehouse operations run efficiently and safely. Your duties will include:

• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently (LF Licence required)
• Loading and unloading trucks and moving stock throughout the warehouse and yard
• Picking, packing, preparing and organising orders for dispatch
• Handling steel, pipe and a variety of construction materials
• Manual handling duties (up to 10kg)
• Completing routine safety checks and forklift pre-start inspections
• Entering inventory and dispatch information into internal systems
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
• Supporting a positive team culture and ongoing safety initiatives

What You'll Bring

• Valid LF Forklift Licence (mandatory)
• Previous RF scanning experience (mandatory)
• Proven experience in warehouse, store person or dispatch operations (high-volume environments preferred)
• Experience with picking and packing customer orders
• Physically fit and capable of regular manual handling and lifting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn systems quickly
• Reliable work ethic with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Ability to work autonomously and manage workloads effectively
