About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced, safety-focused Machine Operators to join our client, Australia’s leading integrated steel manufacturing and distribution company. Based in Geelong, these casual roles offer full-time hours with multiple positions available to commence in the new year.

This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically minded operators with strong computer skills and proven experience working in heavy industrial manufacturing environments.

Shift Options

• Day Shift: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Afternoon Shift: 4:00 pm – 12:00 am
• Night Shift: 12:00 am – 8:00 am

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of industrial machinery and equipment
• Monitor, adjust, and optimise machine settings
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues
• Use computer systems for machine control, data entry, and performance monitoring
• Ensure all equipment is operated safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards

Skills & Experience Required

• Demonstrated experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Competent computer skills, including machine control systems and data input
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
• High attention to detail, reliability, and consistency
• Current Forklift Licence
• Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environments
• Ability to pass a police check and pre-employment medical
