Warehouse Operator – $41.83/hr + 12% Super | Day Shift
 Breakwater Location | Partnering with BAS Barwon Asset Solutions
  
We’re seeking a safety-focused, detail-driven Warehouse Operator to support the Breakwater depot for BAS Barwon Asset Solutions, working closely with the Barwon Water Group. This full-time day-shift role plays a key part in ensuring safe handling of goods, smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and timely dispatch to field teams.

About the Role

• You’ll be responsible for ensuring warehouse functions run efficiently and safely, including:
• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently (LF licence required)
• Loading/unloading trucks and moving stock across the warehouse and yard
• Handling steel, pipe, and various construction materials
• Preparing, organising, and dispatching orders for field staff
• Manual handling (up to 10kg)  
• Performing routine safety checks and pre-starts
• Entering inventory and dispatch data into internal systems
• Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
• Supporting continuous improvement and strong safety culture

What You’ll Bring

• Valid LF Forklift Licence
• Proven experience in warehouse or dispatch operations (high-volume preferred)
• Physically fit and capable of regular manual lifting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills (verbal & written)
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn systems quickly
• Reliable, steady work ethic and ability to work autonomously
• Ability to pass a Police Check, Drug & Alcohol Test, and Literacy Assessment
