About the Role
Reporting into the QA Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality standards across the apparel ranges predominately (there are also footwear, accessories & homewares categories) ensuring products consistently meet brand, customer and compliance expectations.
You will work closely with Buying, Design, Product Development, Garment Technology, Sourcing and Supply Chain teams to proactively identify risks, solve problems and drive quality outcomes from concept through to customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance standards and processes across apparel categories.
- Partner with suppliers and factories to ensure products consistently meet brand quality expectations.
- Review and analyse product performance, customer feedback and return data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Manage product testing programs and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Investigate quality concerns and lead corrective action initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Design and Garment Technical teams throughout the development process.
- Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement programs.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, testing records and reporting.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders on quality-related matters.
- Contribute to a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement.
About You You are passionate about product quality and take pride in delivering exceptional outcomes. You enjoy building relationships, influencing stakeholders and finding practical solutions to complex challenges.
You'll bring: - Previous experience in a Quality Assurance, Garment Technical, Product Development or Quality Management role within apparel, fashion or textiles.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Experience working with offshore suppliers and factories.
- Knowledge of fabric, trim and product testing requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- A collaborative approach and genuine desire to contribute to team success.
