Regional Sales Manager

Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow a high-performing sales operation across multiple locations in Papua New Guinea. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for sales performance, team development, and regional execution.

The Role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of sales professionals while driving revenue growth, customer engagement, and operational excellence across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 7–8 sales professionals
• Deliver regional sales targets through effective planning and execution
• Manage budgets, cash flow, and sales reporting
• Build strong relationships with distributors, resellers, contractors, and key commercial customers
• Drive performance management, coaching, and regular review cycles
• Plan and coordinate regional promotions, events, and sales activities
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and operational standards
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and customer outcomes

About You

• 3–5+ years’ experience in a sales management or regional leadership role
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and performance-manage teams
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and targets
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer relationship skills
• Confident communicator with a hands-on leadership style
• Comfortable working across multiple locations in a developing market environment

Technical Skills

• Experience using ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred)
• Strong Excel and reporting capability
• Proficient in CRM systems, PowerPoint, and email platforms
