An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Technology Delivery Lead to drive the delivery of complex banking technology initiatives across Papua New Guinea, working closely with regional teams across the Pacific.
This role is critical in ensuring technology initiatives, particularly across core banking, payments and integration environments, are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with regional architecture, security and operational standards.
You will act as the in-country technology delivery lead, requiring strong technical credibility and the ability to engage deeply with engineering teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary technology delivery interface in PNG across core banking, payments and integration initiatives
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology programs, ensuring alignment with architecture, engineering and security standards
Work closely with engineering teams to guide solution delivery, resolve technical challenges, and ensure quality outcomes
Support regional delivery teams by ensuring PNG-specific requirements, risks, dependencies and stakeholders are fully incorporated
Governance, Risk & Quality:
Establish and enforce disciplined delivery governance across complex, multi-system environments
Proactively manage technical and delivery risks, including integration dependencies and system impacts
Ensure compliance with security, architectural, regulatory and operational requirements
Financial & Vendor Management:
Manage and challenge vendors on solution design, delivery approach and technical quality
Ensure delivery aligns with long-term architecture and platform strategy
