A leading financial institution is seeking a capable Systems Administrator to join their dynamic IT team.

About the Role As a Systems Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the organisation’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation, security, and performance of systems that keep the business running. This includes day-to-day administration of physical and virtual servers, user management, system security, cloud services, and backup solutions.
We’re seeking someone with a proven track record in banking or financial services IT—someone who understands the importance of system reliability, data integrity, and compliance in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
• Support virtualized infrastructure (VMware vSphere preferred).
• Maintain cloud services including Office365 and Azure AD.
• Perform system monitoring, patching, backups, and antivirus management.
• Ensure compliance with IT security and banking standards.
• Assist with disaster recovery testing and maintaining business continuity.
• Collaborate with internal teams on system upgrades and new technology rollouts.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in systems/network administration.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Office365, Active Directory, and basic virtualization.
• Exposure to enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS) is advantageous.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry is essential.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.
