About the Role
As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting business and commercial customers, driving portfolio growth, and enhancing client satisfaction. You will be responsible for attracting, retaining, and expanding customer relationships by offering bespoke financial solutions and proactively identifying new business opportunities.
Your success will be measured by portfolio growth, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and your ability to act as a trusted advisor within the business community. You will collaborate closely with internal product partners to deliver seamless, value-added services that meet client needs and strengthen the organisation’s market leadership.
Key Responsibilities - Manage and deepen relationships with an existing portfolio of commercial and corporate clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the portfolio through marketing initiatives, referrals, and strategic networking.
- Deliver comprehensive financial solutions, including lending, investment, and risk management services tailored to client needs.
- Proactively monitor the financial performance of your portfolio, ensuring profitability and sound risk management.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and product partners to provide seamless and integrated client service.
- Stay ahead of market, economic, and regulatory trends to offer proactive advice and innovative solutions.
- Act as a thought leader within the business community, enhancing the brand’s reputation as a trusted and valued financial partner.
About You - Degree-qualified in Commerce, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in corporate relationship management, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong financial analysis skills and in-depth knowledge of lending products and credit policies.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Commercially astute with a strong customer focus and a proven ability to develop networks within the business community.
- High attention to detail, compliance, and regulatory awareness.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to think strategically and drive outcomes.
