Group Tax Manager
Location: Port Moresby

Are you a seasoned tax professional looking for a leadership role in a large, multi-entity organisation? We are seeking an experienced Group Tax Manager to oversee statutory reporting and tax compliance, ensuring the organisation remains audit-ready and compliant with fiscal regulations.

• Lead and drive tax strategy & compliance across multiple divisions
• Engage with senior leadership and external auditors
• Make a real impact by implementing best practices and process improvements
• Be part of a high-performing finance team in a dynamic corporate environment

• Oversee all tax lodgments (GST, SWT, BIPT, IWT, FCWT, MFWT, DWT), statutory financial reporting, and ensure a clean bill of health from audits.
• Monitor and implement changes in fiscal policies and provide expert tax advice to senior management.
• Lead tax discussions with external auditors, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Manage and mentor a team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Identify and implement best practices in tax compliance and financial reporting.

• CPA-qualified with a graduate degree in accounting, finance, or taxation
• 7+ years experience in financial and regulatory reporting within large organizations
• Big 4 taxation experience preferred
• Strong leadership & communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level) and Pronto experience is a plus
