About the Role
Based in Auckland this is a full-time onsite role that involves moving all inventory efficiently and effectively within our Mt Wellington store’s operation. Maintain the smooth operation of a fast-moving environment. Meet housekeeping standards and continuous improvement within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
SPECIFIC TASKS:
Be a key member in the warehouse to deliver quality outcomes for internal and external customers. The must haves for this role are:

Other responsibilities for the store’s function.
- Inwards Goods
- Ensure what was received was what is on the packing slip.
- Checking quantity, specification and condition meet requirements.
- Receipt into the WMS system.
- Move to the storage location and rotate stock for FIFO.
- Unloading freight from transport company upon arrival.
- Outwards Goods
- Pick, pack and dispatch orders on the day stock is available.
- Liaise with internal customers regarding delivery dates.
- Select the most efficient and cost-effective method of freighting and make bookings with the freight provider.
- Process dispatches in the WMS system.
- Inventory Maintenance:
- Storage locations must be kept up to date. Every SKU needs to have a bin location which is clearly labelled and tidy.
- Cyclic stock counts are to be conducted weekly, input into the system, variances investigated and reported to the Procurement / Logistics Manager.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
GENERAL: - Safety – We take safety seriously and staff are required to report ALL near misses, hazards in the workplace and incidents.
- Always keep the warehouse clean and tidy.
- If required, assist with any other work in connection with the business.
- Answering the telephone / emails in a timely and professional manner.
- Treat people with respect always.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES: - Strong commitment to customer service.
- Excellent communication, listening and record-keeping skills.
- Versatile and adaptive. Ability to work accurately and at speed under pressure.
- Able to work as an individual using initiative and as a team member.
- Written and spoken English with the ability to read and interpret documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all Filtec employees.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum of 2 years working in a supply chain
- Must be proficient with MS Office suite
- Forklift license (training will be offered for right candidate)
