About the Role
The Membership Coordinator and Volunteer Administrator plays a vital role in driving the membership program for RSPCA NSW, and provide administrative support to the volunteer team and to volunteer branches generally. The role is responsible for ensuring that administrative tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner
The Membership Coordinator and Branch Administrator is responsible and accountable for the administration of all membership enquiries, applications, and correspondence. It also responsible for supporting members and volunteer branches in recognising the importance of their contribution to the organisation and providing ongoing support to the volunteer managers and team.
Management
- Administer the entire membership program.
- Develop and manage procedures for the membership program.
- Manage the membership database and records.
- Event management: obtain venue quotes, send invitations, agendas, and confirm delegates, and prepare documents.
- Attend events and promotions.
- Provide high-level reports to the Executive Manager Volunteer Support Services
- Manage projects and tasks.
- Assist with the strategy and direction of branches and support teams.
- Identify and implement systems, polices and processes which will improve monitoring, accountability, and growth.
Administration - Helping members with their enquiries.
- Prepare and process membership applications and renewals.
- Prepare and send paperwork to various volunteer branch locations
- Diary and calendar management.
- Prepare invoices for authorisation and update all financial documents.
- Maintain and update registers, manuals, and statewide lists.
- Maintain positive, effective relationships with members and internal stakeholders.
- Support policies, procedures, and standards for members.
- Communicate with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Resolve conflict and support the grievance process.
- Proactively communicate with internal stakeholders regarding concerns, opportunities, changes, performance, and other related matters.
Workplace Safety - Identify risks and understanding their impact.
- Support policies and procedures that will eliminate or reduce those risks.
- Promote and evaluate these policies and procedures.
- Maintain a high level of risk and compliance, work health and safety, and governance.
- Comply with all RSPCA NSW policies and procedures, as implemented, varied, or replaced from time to time.
- Demonstrate personal leadership in the implementation of RSPCA NSW's Work Health & Safety (WHS) management system, facilitate its effectiveness by ensuring adequate resources are available, and that all employees are aware of their WHS obligations, and that one's personal behaviour model's the organisation's commitment to WHS.
