The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals New South Wales (RSPCA NSW) is a not-for-profit animal welfare organisation. We provide a strong voice for animals experiencing cruelty and neglect. RSPCA NSW is committed to the care and welfare of animals, providing extensive professional facilities, including fully equipped veterinary hospitals and our state-wide shelter network, with approximately 500 staff across NSW to care for animals.

Are you a natural leader who thrives on connection, community, and compassion? RSPCA NSW is seeking a motivated Branch Manager to lead and strengthen our network of Branches, Supporter Groups, and Community Volunteer Groups (CVGs) across NSW.
This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you'll support local volunteers to deliver meaningful community impact — raising vital funds, running outreach initiatives, and helping animals and people in need through desexing and veterinary assistance program.
What you'll do
Lead, support, and guide RSPCA NSW Branches, Supporter Groups, and CVGs across multiple regions.
Empower volunteers to deliver fundraising and outreach activities that achieve real outcomes for animals and people.
Build engagement, collaboration, and a strong sense of community across the network.
Ensure groups operate safely and in line with RSPCA NSW policies and governance standards.
Support the growth and sustainability of community-led volunteer groups.
Represent RSPCA NSW at meetings, events, and expos — including some weekends and regional travel.
About you
Experienced in volunteer, community, or stakeholder management (ideally in the not-for-profit or animal welfare sector).
A confident communicator and relationship-builder who can engage and inspire diverse groups of people.
Skilled at leading, supporting, and motivating volunteers to achieve shared goals.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities across regions.
A collaborative team player who values inclusion, wellbeing, and safety.
Hold a current NSW Driver Licence and are comfortable travelling as needed.
