The Salesforce Admin and Data Analyst will be responsible for our Salesforce CRM with an opportunity to work in unique CRM that has been customised to include animal information along side donor details, memberships and service customers. The Salesforce Admin and Data Analyst will work closely with Senior Managers, Campaign Managers and the Salesforce Working Group to identify develop and deploy new business processes across all the fundraising and communications team. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part Salesforce analyst. The role will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform including: business processes, system integrations, financial management, training, system configuration and large file imports. The role will also be heavily involved in the ongoing management of Cloudingo a mass depuplication tool.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Understand the full potential of the database and how it can be used across RSPCA, to ensure maximum growth in fundraising and cross-departmental stewardship
- Build, facilitate, and implement the use of Salesforce across new areas of the business who request for it’s support
- Implement a process to triage, prioritise and action a range of Salesforce requests.
- Understand the data architecture of the organisation, across many different applications and systems
- The ability to design and implement effective quality assurance frameworks, drawing on best practice
- Proven experience in dealing with complex and unstructured data sets and bulk importing
- Design and implement quality assurance frameworks to maintain data integrity, aiming for 95% accuracy, and offer continual thought leadership on data management
- Ensure pervasive data quality across structured and unstructured data through routine hygiene audits and best practice frameworks.
- Manage and maintain the deduplication tool, Cloudingo and ensure the filters and rules are aligned through best business practice.
- Demonstrated database management skills
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to facilitate analysis of donor and communication/giving trends using Salesforce Reports, Dashboards, Dataro, and PowerBi, leveraging strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Develop, maintain, and train users in best practice processes for managing contact and household data, financial data particularly for communications and summarising donor data
- Undertake business-as-usual administration activities within Salesforce including user access and permissions, customisation of the platform including creation of fields, building efficiencies and automations via flows and building report templates and dashboards.
- Recommend enhancements to Salesforce and implement these enhancements, including interaction with third party vendors and developers.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical personnel, both written and verbal
- Strong time and project-management skills and the ability to prioritise workload
- Experience working with third party system integration tools such as MoveData, Zapier, Wordpress forms and custom RESTful integrations
- Best practice trends and innovations, latest additions to app exchange and advances of the Salesforce platform
- Marketing Automation, would benefit from working in Campaign Monitor
Essential Qualifications - Certified Salesforce Administrator Qualification (ADM201) with at least 2 years’ experience
Desirable Qualifications - Experience in Salesforce solutions within the non-profit sector
- Advanced Salesforce Admin Certification
- Experience in SF Service Cloud
- Proficiency in using and configuring the Salesforce Non-Profit Starter Pack (NPSP)
- Experience working with Campaign Monitor
- Knowledge of RESTful API integration
- Knowledge of Apex coding
- Knowledge of Lightning Web Components
- Experience with Stripe/ Paypal Payment Gateway or similar payment gateway technology
- Familiarity with Wordpress framework
Experience Two years of work experience as a Salesforce Systems Admin
Skills - Demonstrated experience in multi-channel donor segmentation and have sound knowledge of CRM Systems- specifically Salesforce
- Advanced skills in Excel along with high level understanding of various other computer applications
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability including analytical, practical and conceptual thinking
- Experience building dashboards to present data visualizations
- Basic understanding of SOQL
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail to identify data errors and inconsistencies
- The ability to work autonomously
- An interest in animal welfare
