The Role
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support the scoping and delivery of complex technical initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and enterprise architects to translate business requirements into well‑defined, governed solution designs.
You will be accountable for producing and owning High‑Level Designs (HLDs) that guide delivery and lay the foundation for future phases of the program. This role requires strong engagement skills, technical depth, and the ability to balance delivery pragmatism with architectural rigour.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture activities for complex technical deliveries, from early scoping through to design sign‑off.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to capture and clarify business requirements.
• Translate business needs into formal, governed artefacts, including technical requirements, user stories, and design documentation.
• Produce and own High‑Level Designs (HLDs), ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards and delivery constraints.
• Maintain traceability between business requirements, solution designs, and delivery artefacts (e.g. RTMs).
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and technology strategies.
• Support delivery teams by clarifying design intent and addressing architectural questions during build and test phases.
• Ensure solution designs consider non‑functional requirements such as security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in architecture and governance forums, supporting design reviews and approvals.
• Contribute to the evolution of solution patterns, standards, and reusable components.

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect delivering complex technical solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience scoping and shaping technical deliveries from early design through to implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to capture business requirements and translate them into structured, governed architecture artefacts.
• Hands‑on experience producing HLDs, RTMs, and other formal design documentation.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end solution design, integration patterns, and non‑functional requirements.
• Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and enterprise architecture functions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Experience working in regulated or complex enterprise environments is highly desirable.
