This role focuses primarily on front-end transactional construction work and will see you working closely with leading partners and experienced practitioners on major infrastructure and development matters.

You will be involved in drafting and negotiating construction and project agreements, supporting procurement processes and project delivery models, and advising on contract administration, risk allocation and compliance.

The role offers exposure to complex and high-value projects while working within a collaborative, high-performing team environment that prioritises learning and professional development.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting and negotiating construction and project documentation;
• Assisting with procurement strategies and project delivery structures;
• Supporting major infrastructure and development transactions;
• Preparing research memoranda, advice notes and project documentation;
• Advising on contract administration, risk allocation and compliance matters; and
• Working closely with partners and senior lawyers on front-end construction matters.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years’ PQE in a reputable Projects & Construction practice;
• Experience in front-end construction work (preferred);
• Strong drafting ability and attention to detail;
• Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
• Excellent communication and client service skills; and
• A strong academic record from a well-regarded university.
