About the role 
Join our Retail Team as a Supermarket Area Manager for a portfolio of remote Northern Territory supermarket stores and lead your Store Managers to success.  This opportunity will also see you working closely with the Merchandise and Nutrition Teams to drive sales and nutritional outcomes. 
  
ALPA Supermarket Stores play a pivotal role supporting remote First Nations communities. You will also have the opportunity to assist with Board meetings, grant applications and stakeholder engagement. 

You will join a team of strong and dedicated Area Managers with extensive experience in FMCG and Retail who work together as a team to drive positive results.  This really is a retail job with a difference where training and support will be provided. Please note, that as our stores are located in some of the most remote parts of Australia you will be required to travel by small planes on a regular basis to work with your Supermarket Store Managers.
  


About you
Our next Supermarket Retail Area Manager will be:

• A dedicated retailer with sound supermarket/general experience
• A strong communicator who is resilient and able to build and maintain positive relationship.
• A proven people manager, coach and mentor, someone who is able to work with and develop their Team to deliver positive performance and results
• A commercially minded manager, with strong financial knowledge and analytical skills you will drive your team to achieve budget and achieve operational objectives.
