This role sits within the Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES) program, a federally funded initiative delivered by ALPA in communities across Arnhem Land. RAES provides a flexible, strengths‑based approach to supporting remote employment. The program helps job seekers build skills, receive mentoring, and develop tailored employment pathways, with a strong focus on community‑led priorities.

About the Role

As a RAES Employment Services Team Leader, you will play a critical role in supporting participants to achieve sustainable employment outcomes under the Remote Australia Employment Services (RAES) program. This position focuses on delivering tailored, culturally safe, and strengths-based services, including job placement, employment retention, and employer engagement.

• Lead and support the Employment Placement Support (EPS) team.
• Manage EPS plans and track participant milestones (4, 12, 26, 52 weeks).
• Ensure accurate claims, reporting, and RAES compliance.
• Build strong employer relationships to secure ongoing jobs.
• Coach the team to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date EPS plans and system records.
• Process Employer Incentive Funding and ensure timely payments.
• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What You Need to Succeed

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Cultural competence and understanding of remote contexts.
• Attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• Proficiency in employment services systems and IT tools.
• Experience in employment services or case management is desirable).
