Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate E-commerce & Online Sales Specialist to help us grow our digital presence and drive online sales. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our e-commerce strategy, including website optimisation, digital marketing, SEO/SEM, analytics, and conversion optimisation. 

Beyond online sales, this role involves offline business development to expand market reach and forge strategic partnerships. You will engage retail distributors, corporate buyers, and tourism operators, attending industry events and securing wholesale agreements. Regular visits to partner communities will strengthen relationships and ensure product authenticity.

Please note: this role will require travel via small plane on a monthly basis (for day visits) to remote First Nations Communities


Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive e-commerce and digital sales strategy.
• Set up, manage, and optimise an online store (preferably Shopify or WooCommerce).
• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, EDMs).
• Identify and develop sales channels for a planned cultural digital product range.
• Improve online visibility via SEO and content optimisation strategies.
• Collaborate with community members to ensure accurate and respectful cultural representation across all platforms.
• Build relationships with key B2B & B2C Customers & community stakeholders to drive sales.

Essential Qualifications & Experience   

• Proven track record in increasing online sales and optimising e-commerce platforms.
• Experience with digital sales tools: Shopify, WooCommerce, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager.
• Understanding of UX/UI, SEO, conversion rate optimisation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with cultural sensitivity and respect.
• Ability to work independently and in partnership with remote First Nations communities.

  
This position is a 12 month fixed term contract
