We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Assistants to come on board in the lead up to our client’s peak season!
  
Source SBG is a successful Australian owned, QLD based, family business with existing brands and products in the stationery, apparel, and textile sectors. Christmas, summer holidays and back-to-school time is the peak season for Source SBG’s stationery and back-to-school brand, Spencil (www.spencil.com.au) which means the warehouse is preparing for its busiest time of year!

  
THE OPPORTUNITY:

• Undertake pick and pack activity for online orders, trade orders and retail store orders.
• Assist with any additional activities such as stock control and inventory count.
• Assist with container unloads and packing.
• Be part of a team responsible for supporting the fulfilment of orders and ensuring orders are sent out on time and with zero room for error.
• Follow instructions and report to the Warehouse Manager as required.
• Other general warehouse duties as required.
• Quickly become part of the team, including getting up to speed on the products and brand, warehouse systems and procedures, and contributing to a positive team culture and collaborate and work well alongside co-workers.  

 
ALL ABOUT YOU:

• Be an integral part of the team during this busy period – your role is all about ensuring the company’s values of delivering exceptional customer service to their customers is upheld and making sure product is packed accurately and well for distribution to the retail outlets and customers on time and with little room for error!
• Previous experience in warehouse pick and pack role or similar is desirable, although not essential.
• Great attention to detail!
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to build rapport quickly with other team members.
• Have a can-do attitude and a willingness to do what is required to get the job done.
• Be proactive and self-motivated – we’re looking for people who can muck in and help out and who are happy to get involved in all activities around the warehouse in super busy times and especially when key deadlines are approaching.
• Hold current forklift ticket, MR/HR truck license and experience (desirable, but not essential).  

 
FURTHER INFORMATION:

• This is a casual role based on site at Source SBG’s warehouse at Wulkuraka, QLD.
• We are looking for full availability from start date – start dates will occur throughout October 2024.
• You will be rostered on for full shifts from Monday to Friday.
• Shift rosters are generally daytime shifts from 8am to 4pm.
• Salary will be paid by hourly rate as per the Storage Services and Wholesale Award.
• Culture and team fit will be an important determinant for us in recruiting for this role.
• There is a train station approx. 15 minutes walk from the warehouse or you will require your own transport to be able to get to/from work.
• Driver’s license or MR truck license desirable (but not essential).
• Must have full working rights in Australia to be considered.
