We are looking for a Manufacturing Electrician to join a renewable Energy Storage System manufacturer in Croydon South, Victoria. We are looking for a Manufacturing Electrician with at least 4 years of experience in the same or similar role. This is a permanent full-time role with the working days of Monday – Friday and an attractive salary of up to $95,000 per annum plus super for the right candidate.
 
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Routine mechanical/electro-mechanical/electronic assembly
• Able to follow specific verbal and written instructions relating to assembly assignments
• Understand and apply quality control techniques
• Inspect products and/or materials for conformity with established operational standards
• Apply routine diagnostic procedures
• Basic soldering
• Maintain records and reports following company procedures
• Receiving, dispatching, distributing, sorting, checking, packing, documenting and recording goods, materials and components
• Inventory control in the context of a production process
• Operation of mobile equipment including forklifts, hand trolleys, pallet trucks, overhead cranes and winches
• Perform other duties consistent with training and skill levels

The ideal candidate will have experience and skills as follows:

• 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Hold an Electrician (A-grade) license in Australia
• Hold a current forklift license in Australia
• Have a current driver's license and a reliable car
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to apply a logical approach to solving technical problems
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with other technicians and technical employees
