Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, to Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East.

About the position 
Located in the heart of the beautiful Whitsunday region, St Catherine's Kindergarten and St Catherine's OSHC provide high-quality education and care for local children from their early learning years through to school age. Together, these well-established services play an important role in supporting families within the Proserpine community.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director – Dual Services to lead both services on a permanent full-time basis (38 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and will include split shifts (plus allowance).

This is an exciting opportunity to lead two dedicated teams, drive high-quality educational outcomes, and build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community. You'll be supported by an experienced Business Operations Consultant and a wider network of specialists across Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland, giving you the resources and support to succeed in the role.

What We’re Looking For:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards) or equivalent (Education Support, studying Bachelor of Education or similar qualifications approved under ACECQA)
• A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training, or willingness to obtain these certifications
• Understanding and knowledge of National Quality Framework
• Ability to pass a national criminal history check
• Ability to learn new systems and child care management software
