Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East. We have grown to include 4 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres.

About the position 
MMCNQ is seeking a Kindergarten Educator to commence at St Joseph's Kindergarten. Located in the picturesque suburb of North Ward along the strand and within the heart of the St Joseph’s Catholic School campus.

St Joseph's are seeking applications from a passionate and creative Kindergarten Teacher to commence on a full-time basis for 38 hours per week commencing as soon as practical. Hours required at the service are from 8.00am-3.00pm Monday to Friday.

As the Kindergarten Teacher, you will provide quality care and education that supports children’s developmental and educational needs in a hands-on approach, working in partnership with families and stakeholders.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• ACECQA approved qualifications in Teaching/Early Childhood Education or near completion 
• Current Queensland College of Teachers registration (if applicable) 
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
• Ability to pass a National Criminal History Check
• Understanding and knowledge of National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework 
• Ability to learn new systems and child care management software
