Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, spanning from Ingham in the North to Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West, and Palm Island to the East. We have grown to include 6 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres.

About the Positions
MMCNQ is seeking passionate and driven Assistant Coordinators to join our Outside School Hours Care services in Townsville. You will become part of a supportive environment where you’ll have the opportunity to manage and mentor a team of Educators. With the guidance of your Coordinator, Business Operations Consultant, and other MMCNQ field experts, you will play a key role in shaping the development of the service to meet the needs of the local community.

This is a full-time position (38 hours per week), and flexible work patterns can be considered to support both the operational requirements of the service and your individual needs.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards) or equivalent (Education Support, studying Bachelor of Education or similar qualifications approved under ACECQA)
• Current Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
• Understanding and knowledge of National Quality Framework
• Ability to pass a national criminal history check
