Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, spanning from Ingham in the North to Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West, and Palm Island to the East. We have grown to include 6 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres.

About the position
Ryan OSHC, Kirwan, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Coordinator to join our close-knit team. Based at Ryan Catholic College Junior Campus, our service offers high-quality before and after school care, as well as vacation care for local families.

This position is offered as a permanent part-time or full-time role (30–38 hours per week).
As Assistant Coordinator, you’ll work collaboratively with our two Coordinators to:

• Support the day-to-day operations of the service
• Lead engaging, child-led programs that inspire creativity and connection
• Foster a warm, inclusive environment for children, families, and educators

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated educator ready to step into leadership and make a meaningful impact within a supportive and professional team.

What We’re Looking For:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards) or equivalent (Education Support, studying Bachelor of Education or similar qualifications approved under ACECQA)
• A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training, or willingness to obtain these certifications
