Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East. We have grown to include 6 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres.

About the position
Working closely with the school community, Holy Spirit Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), Cranbrook provides an engaging, interactive, and educational after school hours care service to extend each school day. 
 
Our centre is seeking a passionate and creative qualified OSHC Coordinator on a fulltime permanent basis. This position is 38 hours per week.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and driven individual to step into a leadership role to manage and mentor a team of Educators. With the support of the Business Operations Consultant and two Assistant Coordinators, the successful applicant will lead the service in delivering high-quality care that meets the needs of the local community.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent (Education Support, studying Bachelor of Teaching ect)
• Previous experience in a similar position 
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and background check
• Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
• Understanding and knowledge of National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place Framework
• Ability to learn new systems and child care management software
