Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland (MMCNQ), an agency of the Catholic Diocese of Townsville, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Education & Inclusion Director (Program, Practice & Inclusion) to lead the development and delivery of high-quality outcomes in contemporary early childhood education and care.
As a key member of MMCNQ’s Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the strategic oversight and performance of our educational programs and practices. You’ll play a vital role in shaping and enhancing the organisation’s approach to early education, including play-based learning and the foundational importance of the early years.
Guiding an Education and Inclusion Partner, you will also oversee the provision of specialist services focused on inclusion and behaviour guidance frameworks for children across MMCNQ. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in early childhood teaching and bring substantial experience in a senior leadership role within the education or childcare sector. You will be a confident communicator and a collaborative leader, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Your capacity to think strategically, lead with purpose, and influence best practice will be key to your success.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Townsville, with travel required throughout North Queensland - extending north to Ingham, west to Mt Isa, and south to Proserpine. The role reports directly to the Executive Director.
This is a unique opportunity to lead meaningful change and shape the future of early childhood education across a diverse and growing region.
