Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East. We have grown to include 6 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres.

About the position
St Benedict’s Kindergarten, Shaw operates with two large spaces and a shared playground, wherein the children have access to an engaging, explorative and playful learning environment.

St Benedict's is seeking an Educator on a permanent basis for 37.5 hours per week, working 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday. 

We invite applicants who are currently working towards or hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification apply.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Enrolled, completed or working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent 
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
• Ability to learn new systems and child care management software 
• The ability to work effectively in a close-knit team environment
