Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East. We have grown to include 6 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres.

Columba Kindergarten and Care, Charters Towers offer long day-care for children aged 3-5 through a Queensland Government-approved Kindergarten program. Additionally, we provide before and after school care, as well as vacation care for children attending our school and for the broader community.

About the position 
Columba Kindergarten and Care are currently seeking casual Educators to join our vibrant teams across our OSHC and Kindergarten. This position will commence as soon as practicable between the hours of 7:00am to 5:30pm and will involve a variety of shifts, including some split shifts.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent 
• Keen interest in working within the childcare/education sector
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
• Ability to learn new systems and child care management software 
• The ability to work effectively in a close-knit team environment
