Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East. We have grown to include 6 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres.

About the position
MMCNQ is looking for a dedicated Coordinator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis for 38 hours per week. This position is ideal for someone eager to lead and manage the operation of one of our high-quality Outside School Hours Care services in Townsville.

You will play a key role in guiding the development of the service to meet local needs, all while upholding the Mission, Vision, and Values of MMCNQ. Our work hours extend from 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday, and we consider flexible work arrangements to accommodate both service operations and applicant needs.

With ongoing support from our Business Operations Consultants and other MMCNQ experts, you will be empowered to grow both professionally and personally in this fulfilling role. What you’ll need to succeed:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification 
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
• Understanding and knowledge of National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place Framework
• Ability to learn new systems and child care management software
• The ability to work effectively in a close-knit team environment
• Passionate and dedicated to providing the highest standard of education for our children and their families
