Our Education and Inclusion team are seeking a skilled, qualified mentor to support our educators to deliver creative and effective care.
Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East. We have grown to include 6 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres.
Ideally we are seeking a qualified teacher but we are also keen to hear from those with Early childhood, special needs or psychological qualifications.
This role will partner with our services to identify children's developmental learning concerns and diversity, build appropriate strategies and resources, and drive the implementation of contemporary, high quality, inclusive pedagogy that supports the inclusion needs of all children to achieve the best outcomes and success.
Duties will include a strong focus on all matters relating to the Safeguarding of children and vulnerable people. There will be a requirement to build and maintain stakeholder relationships within the Catholic Diocese and the wider Early Childhood Education and Care sector.
Successful candidates will be required to travel to our services in Townsville, Ingham, Mt Isa, Palm Island, Proserpine and Bowen.
