Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, to Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East.

About the position 
St Catherine's Kindergarten and OSHC facilites are located 20 minutes inland from Airlie beach and provide an enganging, fun and playful environment with teams of passionate and dedicated educators.

We are seeking a dedicated Director - Duel Services to lead the operation of our services on a part time permanent basis working 37.5 hours per week. This service operates up to 50 weeks a year and is open from 7.00am - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. 

This opportunity allows you to be a valued member of the community and support Educators in fostering high-quality practices for a safe, inclusive and engaging environment for every child.

You will have the support from your Business Operations Consultant and other experts in their fields from Mary MacKillop Childcare NQ.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Diploma of Early Childhood & Care or an equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
• Working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Regulations and law, ACECQA regulations and organisational standards
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership position as a director/nominaated supervisor
• Experience in achieving performance based outcomes, and leading change within a similar context
• Ability to engage and influence outcomes for the organisation by managing issues and challenges, with a proven capacity to address such issues and challenges
• Experience in leading service teams, with a focus on support, coaching, collaboration and improvement.  
• Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications
• Unencumbered driver’s licence
