Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East. We have grown to include 6 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres.

About the position 
MMCNQ are seeking passionate Educators to join our Outside Hours School Care (OSHC) services in Townsville on a causal basis. Our OSHC centres provide engaging and educational activities that extend the school day, offering children a supportive and enriching environment.

Our services operate Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM and 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Additionally, there will be opportunities to increase hours during the vacation care period. These positions are ideal for individuals seeking extra work or students looking to balance their studies with flexible hours.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Keen interest in working within the education sector
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
• Ability to learn new systems and child care management software 
• The ability to work effectively in a close-knit team environment
