Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East.
We have grown to include 6 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres.

About the position
Kirwan ELC are seeking passionate Lead Educators to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week in the Nursery or Toddlers room.

MMCNQ offer a rotating roster, consisting of three shifts from 8:00am/8:30am to 4:30pm/5:00pm, and two closing shifts from 9:30am to 6:00pm each week. 

You will have the opportunity to lead and mentor educators in developing and delivering high-quality programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards. Collaborating closely with our centre leader, you will drive continuous improvements in the educational programs offered to children.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Studying (50% completed) or completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
• Understanding and knowledge of National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place Framework
• Ability to learn new systems and child care management software
