Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, spanning from Ingham in the north to Proserpine in the south, Mount Isa in the west, and Palm Island to the east. We have grown to include 6 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens, and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres.

About the position
MMCNQ are currently seeking dedicated Educators and Lead Educators to fill permanent roles across our Early Learning Centres and Kindergartens in Townsville. We are looking for applicants who are either working towards or hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent. With positions available to commence as soon as practical, we’re excited to welcome new talent into our team.

Our Townsville services operate across 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, offering permanent part-time positions of 37.5 hours per week. Locations include North Ward, Kirwan and Rasmussen and our HR team is happy to discuss hours and room placements further with you!

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Hold or working towards a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA approved equivalent qualification
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
