Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East. 
 
About the position
St Mary MacKillop Goodoo is an Early Learning Centre located in a remote, Indigenous community on Palm Island. As the only Early Learning Centre on Palm Island, we take great in providing a safe, playful, and engaging environment for the youngest members of the local community.

St Mary MacKillop Goodoo is seeking an Educator to commence on a casual basis between the hours of 6am-6pm Monday to Friday commencing as soon as practical. 

This opportunity allows you to be a valued Educator, fostering high-quality practices for a safe, inclusive and engaging environment for every child. Our Qualified Leaders empower, guide and motivate our Educators to excel in their roles. 

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or be willing to enroll and study
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
