Our client is a specialist firm that provides wealth advisory, tax, accounting, to their HNW clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and lodge individual tax returns, including for sole traders, contractors, and high-income earners
• Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
• Review and reconcile client financials using cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB)
• Assist with communication with clients to gather information and provide updates
• Preparation of working papers and associated requirements using the firm’s systems and procedures
• Assist senior accountants with tax planning and advisory tasks
• Contribute to ongoing process improvement and efficiency

Minimum Skills & Experience:

• 1+ years' experience in a similar role within public practice accounting
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
• A positive and friendly attitude
• Working knowledge of Australian taxation laws, particularly individual tax and GST
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or related field
