About the Role:

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for investment research, advice and financial strategy, and delivering high-quality insights that drive client outcomes.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct investment research and maintain internal investment models and spreadsheets
• Assist in developing tailored advice strategies (e.g., taxation, structures, superannuation, wealth accumulation, preservation, drawdown, DCA, portfolio construction, tax-aware investing)
• Prepare presentations for client meetings, with investment analysis, research, advice strategies, technical summaries
• Investment reports, presentations, advice and technical summaries for client meetings
• Collaborate with the Partner and advice team to refine investment philosophy and frameworks
• Support ongoing portfolio monitoring, rebalancing, and performance tracking
• Maintain and update internal investment ratings and research databases, and research packs

• 2+ years in investment research, technical paraplanning and financial strategy
• Knowledge of financial advice process, legislation, and taxation
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience with financial planning software a plus
• Progress toward CFA, CIMA, or similar designation preferred
• High attention to detail, disciplined, and proactive
• Strong written communication and ability to translate technical data into client-friendly insights
