Our client is a multiple award-winning lender. Due to growth, they are looking for a motivated and experienced leader to oversee broker distribution for multiple states. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance and ensuring the consistent delivery of exceptional service to mortgage brokers and aggregators. This role requires strategic vision, strong leadership experience, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Business Development team across VIC, TAS, SA, WA & NT.
• Assist BDM’s with developing and maintaining partnerships with mortgage brokers and aggregators to expand market share.
• Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities, implementing strategies, and meeting targets.
• Regularly review performance metrics and provide feedback to align Business Development Managers activities with business objectives.
• Strategising and implementing plans to meet business goals and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the Business Development Manager team.
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture.
• Ensure all activities align with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Be a primary point of contact for the BDM team, ensuring consistent communication and support.

  
Required Experience:

• 5 + years’ experience leading a BDM/ Sales teams.
• Proven experience in mortgage broker distribution, sales, or relationship management roles.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and develop actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
