We are seeking experienced Senior Open Pit Mine Geologists & Mine Geologists to join the team to mine the BIF hosted gold deposits within the Gold Duke Project, which is ~35km southwest of Wiluna in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields. The project is owned by Western Gold Resources (WGR) with SSH Mining being responsible for the technical support from planning, coordination, to the execution of all on‑site mining activities.
Role will be based on a 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth, offering the opportunity to build geological systems from the ground up, help shape dilution minimisation practices, and contribute to a high‑performance culture from day one.
The Role
As the Senior or Mine Geologist, you will play a key role in establishing geological processes for these new BIF hosted gold deposits. You will be responsible for overseeing ore mining activities, dilution management, geological mapping, and providing timely, high‑quality geological support to mine planning, as well as the development of geological and grade models.
Your work will directly influence ore recovery, dilution control, and the safe, efficient development of the open pits.
