HopgoodGanim’s Estates and Succession practice covers a broad mix of work types including estate planning, administration and litigation, elder law and self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs), offering a great opportunity to broaden and develop your experience.
About the role
This newly added role will support the team with increasing work demand and offers the opportunity to take on responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Liaising with clients, colleagues and other practitioners within the team and across the firm
- Drafting and collating legal documentation across the areas of estate planning, administration, litigation as well as in matters relating to elder law and SMSF matters
- Drafting and providing advice, with the oversight of senior practitioners
- Preparing for and attending mediations, hearings and other matters with senior practitioners
- Supporting and over time leading business development activities
Our clients extend across the ambit of the community from wealthy entrepreneurs, business owners, charities and NFP organisations, blended families, and mums and dads together with an extensive referral network from financial advisers and accountants. Our team works collaboratively with other HopgoodGanim teams to access specific and relevant expertise such as in taxation, corporate and trust law and family law.
About You
As an experienced Estates and Succession solicitor with 2 – 4 years PAE, joining HopgoodGanim will provide you with the opportunity to be part of a friendly and focused team with a genuine commitment to providing exceptional client service.
You will have excellent attention to detail, articulate and clear written and verbal communication skills and along with a passion for this area of law, you will demonstrate exceptional and empathetic client service. You will be self-motivated, able to work well under pressure while juggling competing priorities and have the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
