Full Job Description

HopgoodGanim Lawyers are looking for an experienced and motivated legal secretary to join our Property team on a full-time basis. The standout candidate will be committed to providing exceptional support and your key responsibilities will include: 

• monitoring emails and taking telephone calls;
• file management;
• diary and email management;
• monthly billing and reporting;
• preparation of contract and leasing documentation;
• archiving and filing; and,
• other ad hoc duties as required

This role will give you exposure to a variety of work involving the administrative practises behind leasing of commercial, retail, service station and industrial properties acting for both landlords and tenants.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

• have the ability to manage a busy role with strong organisation and efficiency
• be proactive, self-sufficient and detail-oriented, with strong written communication skills
• be skilled in managing conflicting priorities and deadlines
• have excellent interpersonal skills
• have experience with a document management and billing/time recording system (desirable)
• have a background in Commercial Property or leasing group (desirable)
