Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee a 66kV utility electrical project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering the project on time and within budget.  The successful candidate will need to based in Melbourne, ideally Western Suburbs.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring all activities align with project specifications and timelines.
• Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety standards and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of work performed, ensuring it meets industry standards and client expectations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Documentation: Oversee the preparation and submission of daily reports, incident logs, and other necessary documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in managing high-voltage (HV) electrical projects, particularly in 66kV utility settings.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
