Our client is experiencing a significant growth phase as they expand into new global markets. To support this momentum, they are seeking a Junior Compliance professional who is eager to build a long-term career in the compliance space. This entry level role will play a key part in assisting the compliance team and providing support across the broader business. It is a diverse role offering extensive opportunities to learn and grow, under the mentorship of an experienced and hands on leader. Over time, the successful candidate will have opportunities to contribute to projects in other areas of the business.
General responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and surveillance activities across Australian and International markets.
- Manual gap analysis testing and working with the business to rectify issues identified.
- Management and reporting of incidents and breaches.
- Maintenance of key Compliance Registers.
- Assisting with Complaints management and engaging with regulators where required.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in back or front office functions from broking or financial markets, and has had previous exposure to compliance. It will allow the successful candidate to be exposed to both Australian and global markets, whilst learning from high performing teams and global processes. We are looking for individuals who have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent stakeholder management skills and someone with a proactive and energetic approach. An enquiring mind, and a “can-do” attitude will be key to positive outcomes in this role.
